All Inclusive At Corinthians
Connacht’s Cian Kelleher and Conor Carey visited Corinthians RFC on Saturday to see the fantastic progress being made in the club’s new Disability and Inclusion section.

Connacht Rugby are hugely appreciative of the work being done to get the new section up and running with Corinthians’ Derek Niland spearheading the initiative.

Derek has done incredible work in developing a rugby section for young people with disabilities at the club - without his vision, drive and determination this would not have been possible.

Connacht Rugby Club and Community Officer Conor Galvin has done fantastic work in assisting Derek and delivered the first training sessions for Corinthians' new initiative.

The new section has already attracted more than 20 new players to the club from the age of seven to 14 years of age.

The emphasis in the training sessions is on having fun and exercising  through tag rugby, games and activities.

Training continues every Saturday morning from 10-11am in Corinthians RFC with all welcome to attend.

Connacht Rugby hope to facilitate other clubs in the province to develop their own disability and inclusion sections in the future. For more information, please contact info@connachtrugby.ie.
