All you need to know: Cardiff v Connacht

Connacht are back on the round for the final Pool game of this seasons Challenge Cup as they travel to Wales to take on Cardiff.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Friday's game.

When’s the game?

Kick-off is 20:00 at Cardiff Arms Park on Friday 17th January.

How will the two teams line up?

The Connacht management team will announce their squad on Thursday at midday when it will be named on connachtrugby.ie and the Connacht Rugby social channels.

State of play so far:

After another bonus point win on Saturday, this time at home to Lyon, Pete Wilkins side have secured top spot in the Pool and have booked their spot in the knockout stages. Another win for Connacht on Friday should guarantee them a home tie in the Last 16.

Cardiff are currently in a position where qualification is not yet confirmed. They sit 3rd on 7 points, one point ahead of fifth place Cheetahs who are outside the qualification standings.
