Its the start of the Investec Champions Cup this weekend and Connacht begin their campaign at home to French side, Union Bordeaux Bègles.

What’s the state of play so far?

It was defeat at the weekend for Connacht against Leinster. A first home defeat in nearly a year as Leinster struck a late late winner. Connacht are 8th in the URC having won four from seven.

Bordeaux come into the game on the back of late drama in their own game at the weekend. A late try saw them beat Oyonnax 29-23. They sit 7th in the Top 14 having won five of their nine games so far.
