All you need to know: Connacht v Lions

This Saturday South African side Lions come to Galway for Round 12 of the BKT United Rugby Championship.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Saturday’s game.

When’s the game?

Kick-off is 5.15pm at Dexcom Stadium on Saturday 23rd March.

What’s the state of play?

After a bonus point win over Scarlets the last day out at Dexcom Stadium, Pete Wilkins side sit 7th in the URC table. Connacht are one point behind 4th place Edinburgh, but they are only four points ahead of the Lions in 11th which shows how tight it is in the race for the play-offs. Conancht have won their last three games in the URC.

The Lions are a side still chasing a top eight finish to the season and that was helped with a thirty point win at home to South African rivals Sharks (40-10).
