Connacht learn Challenge Cup opponents

Connacht Rugby have learned their potential opponents in next season's EPCR Challenge Cup.

Pete Wilkins' side have been drawn in Pool 1 alongside fellow URC teams Cardiff and Zebre, as well as Top 14 outfits Perpignan and Lyon, and invitational side Toyota Cheetahs from South Africa.

Connacht will play games against four of the five teams, with confirmation on opponents, venues and dates to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

The four Pool games will be played on the weekends of 6-8 and 13-15 December, and 10-12 and 17-19 January, with the top 4 teams qualifying for the Round of 16.
