Connacht Referees launch new sponsorship deal with BF Goodrich Tyres

The Association of Referees, Connacht Branch (ARCB) held a very successful pre-season conference on Saturday 20^th August.

Almost 50 members attended on the day, which was held at Corinthians RFC and hosted by ARCB president Christy O’Sullivan and Referee Development Manager Peter Fitzgibbon. A mix of on-pitch and classroom-based workshops were facilitated by senior referees Shane Tuohy, Shane Gaughan and Andy Fogarty in preparation for the season ahead.

On the day a new sponsorship arrangement between BF Goodrich Tyres and Connacht Rugby was announced. BF Goodrich Tyres have come on board as sponsors of Connacht Referees for the next two seasons, with the company’s logo being on the front of the new ARCB jersey. This agreement will have a lasting impact on rugby in the province, providing significant support for the referee development programme in Connacht.
