The Ballina RFC Excellence Camp takes place from Monday, July 31, to Friday, August 4.
Six venues across the province host Excellence Camps across the province over the summer as young players aged between 13 and 16 get the opportunity to learn and improve from high class coaching in a professional environment.
Players attending can learn to play the Connacht way as they will gain greater understanding of the game and learn about values such as team work, commitment, integrity and communication.
Emphasis will be placed on skill development, game understanding, positional expertise, conditioning, and enjoyment. In particular, players will develop core rugby skills and learn to perform them under challenging conditions thanks to Connacht Rugby’s fully qualified professional coaches.
Camps cater for players who are aged from 13 to 16 years of age and the cost of the camp is €95.
