Connacht Rugby has today announced laya healthcare has committed for another two years as the official health and wellbeing partner of the club.
Laya healthcare plan to continue its work with Connacht Rugby on a strategic vision that will support the performance of the province by focusing on aspects of health and wellbeing across the men’s and women’s teams, the backroom team, right through to the fans.
The partnership between laya healthcare and Connacht Rugby serves as a testament to laya healthcare’s unwavering dedication to advancing the health and wellness within the communities they serve. Through this collaboration, laya healthcare will continue to extend its extensive support and resources, such as HeartBeat Cardiac screenings, that make a tangible difference to the wellbeing of both the players and backroom teams.
The partnership will continue to see laya healthcare’s logo appear on the sleeve of the senior men’s and women’s Connacht jerseys. It will also appear on the armband and medical bags of all medics and physios on match day.

Laya healthcare has already built strong links in the Connacht region with its Health & Wellbeing Clinic in Briarhill. Laya Health & Wellbeing Clinics offer an array of diagnostics to both laya healthcare members and non-members. The healthcare services include walk-in urgent care for the treatment of minor injuries along with video consultation for patients as young as 12 months.
