Connacht Senior Coaching Course

The next Connacht Senior Coaching Course will be held in Galway City (location to be confirmed soon) on the 9th and 10th August, 2024. 

The 2024 Senior Coaching Course will be held on Friday, 9th August and Satuday, 10th August in Galway City. The course is open to all coaches working with players aged 18 and up who are looking to expand their coaching knowledge and get themselves accredited. The Senior Course is geared towards covering key factor analysis that is applied to individual skills, mini-unit skills, and team skills. 

The course will begin at around 6:30 PM on the 9th and 9:00 AM on the 10th and food will be provided on the day.

PLEASE NOTE: In addition to completing the IRFU Senior Coach Award requirements above, coaches must also hold an Active Coach Badge for this season (minimum Bronze) and (if working with age-grade players) have completed IRFU Safeguarding in order to be considered fully 'Qualified' to coach at this level.
