Connacht to face Harlequins in February friendly

Connacht Rugby and Harlequins can confirm the two sides will meet in a mid-season friendly early next year.

The fixture will take place at the Twickenham Stoop on Friday 21st February with a 7.45pm kick-off, and will provide both teams with further gametime during the Six Nations window.

For Connacht, the game falls between successive home games against Cardiff and Benetton in the BKT URC on the 15th February and 1st March respectively.

It will be a first meeting between the pair since the two sides met in both the 2011/12 and 2012/13 Champions Cup pool stages, with 'Quins picking up three wins and Connacht securing the famous 9-8 victory - their first ever in the competition.
