Four Connacht players have been named in the Ireland Womens squad to play USA at the weekend, one of whom could make Irish rugby history. 16 year old
Beibhinn Parsons from Ballinasloe RFC has been named on the bench, and will become the youngest player to win an Ireland cap in a Test match in the modern era if she makes an appearance.
Parsons was instrumental in the Connacht U18 Girls team claiming their first interprovincial title earlier in the season.
Flanker
Edel McMahon has been named in the starting XV while Parsons is joined on the bench by
Laura Feely and
Nichola Fryday.
The squad face USA in Donnybrook on Sunday (k/o 1pm).
