Following a two-week break for Rugby World Cup action, the Guinness PRO12 resumes this week and Pat Lam's men are in action against Cardiff Blues on Saturday, kick off 5pm. Connacht will be looking to enact revenge on the Blues who last season secured a Sportsground draw and dramatic one-point win at Arms Park in March.

After two rounds this month, Connacht currently sit in fourth place on the PRO12 table -  just one point ahead of Saturday's opponents Cardiff Blues who have so far beaten Zebre with a bonus point but were defeated away to Leinster a week later.

Saturday's game with Cardiff is a crucial one in the province's drive for a top 6 finish and Champions Cup qualification.
