To end the successful 8 week Give It A Try campaign, Tuam RFC hosted a GIAT Tag Rugby Blitz for programme participants from all over the province.
This amazing event saw almost 150 girls from seven different clubs around the province taking part. The blitz comprised of three U10 teams, six U12 teams, and four U14 teams. This was the second blitz of the GIAT programme, with the first one being held at Corinthians involving around 60 participants.
The clubs that took part were:
Tuam RFC, Ballinasloe RFC, Galway Bay RFC, Galwegians RFC, Corinthians RFC, Castlebar RFC, and Monivea RFC.
