Save the Date: Good Friday Golf Classic with €100k up for grabs

We are delighted to announce that this Easter, Connacht Rugby are swapping the oval ball for the small dimpled ball as we announce details of our upcoming golf classic. Taking place on Good Friday at the Christy O’Connor Jnr Championship Course on Galway Bay Golf Club, we are encouraging businesses, social clubs, societies and friends to support our ‘Grass Roots to Green Shirts’ fundraising event.

Ensuring our golf classic stands out from the crowd, there are cash prizes for a hole in one on all of the par 3 holes, culminating with a €100,000 pay out for a hole in one on the 13^th. There are also great team prizes with categories including best pub team, best Chamber team and best mixed team.

A four ball team entry costs €500 and tee times can be secured by contacting Barry McCann on 091 561568 or emailing barry.mccann@connachtrugby.ie.

There is also the opportunity for businesses to get added exposure by becoming an event partner or a tee sponsor. All money will go towards Connacht Rugby’s development of the game at both a professional and community level.
