Jean McConnell Named Chair of Connacht Schools

Connacht Rugby is pleased to announce Jean McConnell as the new Chair of Connacht Schools.

Jean is a teacher at St. Attracta's Community School, Tubercurry and has been involved in rugby for many years. Recently she served as President of Sligo RFC in the 2022-23 season and continues to sit on the committee of the club with a particular interest in the area of PR.

She has played rugby with University of Ulster, Coleraine RFC and Sligo RFC and has coached teams at St. Attracta's for over 15 years.

Connacht Rugby is delighted to have someone of Jean's calibre take up this position and we wish her well for her term.
