Oisín McCormack has renewed his contract at Connacht for the 2024/25 season.
Another product of the Connacht pathway system, McCormack represented Ballinasloe RFC and Garbally College before graduating through the Connacht Academy in 2022.
McCormack made his senior debut off the bench in the Challenge Cup win over Newcastle in December of that year.
“Oisin has been very unfortunate with injuries over the last year or so, but we’re confident he has the ability to become an important player for the club. He’s a classic openside flanker, strong and tenacious over the ball in defence, and a hard-working support player in attack. As well as his determination and resilience to return to full fitness, we’ve seen from his performances in training that he deserves the opportunity to continue his development with us next season.”
