Connacht Rugby continue to build for next season with a contract extension for back rower Paul Boyle.
The 27 year old has renewed for the 2024/25 season and has amassed 87 caps since his debut in early 2018.
A prolific try-scorer, Boyle has crossed the try-line 20 times for the province, making him the second highest scoring forward in the club’s history, behind John Muldoon.
Connacht Head Coach Pete Wilkins says:
“Paul has loads of talent and it’s great for us that he’s signed up again with us for next season. He’s a natural leader on and off the field, as we’ve seen with his captaincy of Connacht on occasion and with the Ireland Under 20s before that. His work in the community, outside of rugby, also says a lot about who he is and the connections he’s built here in Connacht.”
