Paul reaching Boyleing point

Paul Boyle has been loving the 2024/25 season to date after a tough season previously with injury.

The back row has played in every game so far this season including starts in the last two games in the number 8 jersey.

"I've stayed injury free this season and happy with how I am going"

"Last season was frustrating with the injuries, I broke my wrist in pre-season and then came back and broke my eye socket"

"It was a really frustrating year but this season, pre-season was brilliant, we had eight tough weeks"

"I'm feeling good and feeling fit, I'm loving getting stuck into te games and I feel like I'm playing well"

"I just need to make sure I keep building on that"

Conancht opened their first five round of the URC with three interpro games, three games which any team would find tough at any stage of the season. The results in those game may not have gone the way of the western province, but their style of play and confidence has caught the eyes of spectators.

"We do feel a lot more confident with our game this year and a lot of people from the outside have mentioned that we look more confident this season"

"I feel as a squad we are more connected, I feel the coaches and us as players learned a lot from that first season together as a whole"

"We know we are so close to put everything together now, if you look at our games we've been so close and good in parts of those games but that last little element of everything clicking I think is really close"

"When we get that to click I think it will be so exciting"

This Saturday at Dexcom Stadium Welsh side Dragons are in town. The final game of the first block in the season before a break.

"We know they have a big pack and are a really physical side"

"We will have to be focused on our maul defence and our own goal line defence"

"I think we've seen they are a much improved outfit this season"

"They played Leinster in Dublin and really put it up to them for a long period in that game so we know we have to be at out best to win on Saturday"
