St. Patrick's Day rugby is coming to The Sportsground next week when Ballina RFC and Buccaneers RFC face off in the 2022 Bank of Ireland Connacht Senior Cup Final.
With the 2020/21 Cup not held due to the pandemic, this game will offer both clubs the opportunity of some silverware as the club season enters its closing stages.
Buccaneers currently sit in 3rd place in Division 2A of the Energia All-Ireland League, posting 7 wins and 2 draws from their 15 games. Ballina sit one league lower in Division 2B, with the team working hard to ensure their status in the league again next season.
