Tomorrow, 13th December Sligo Grammar and Marist College face each other in a Schools League Final double-header at Creggs RFC in the Senior A and Junior A finals.
Creggs RFC will host a double-header for the Junior A (12:00 PM) and Senior A (1:45 PM) Schools League Finals where old rivals Marist College and Sligo Grammar meet in both matches. Marist College took down Summerhill College in a tight semi-final to see them into the final against reigning league champions Sligo Grammar. The Junior A final will be a rematch of last year's league final where Sligo Grammar came out with a 27-7 win.
Sligo Grammar Senior Co-Captain Dylan McCloat says, "Playing in a third league final is such a momentous occasion that will show the hard work and dedication put in by all the squad and coaches, with the hope of doing 3 in a row".
Marist College says, "The School has a proud record of achievement in Rugby and we believe this is partly due to the quality of our coaching and our facilities, but also because of the School's ethos and the encouragement boys of all abilities are given to participate."
