The competition is for U20 teams (10 players a side) with the overall winners of the Connacht U20s 10s Series receiving €5,000 worth of equipment from Elverys Sports for their club
Last Saturday’s event in Tuam was the second round of the competition with five rounds to go.
Seven clubs were battling it out for the points with Buccaneers coming out on top ahead of a combined Ballina/Monivea side, Galwegians, Creggs and a combined Castlebar/Tuam team.
It was a fantastic day of rugby with the seven sides serving up some excellent encounters before being treated to food and refreshments afterwards.
The next leg of the Series will be an extra special occasion as it takes place at the Sportsground on Sunday, August 27, with spaces for clubs still available.
Fill in this form and send on to info@connachtrugby.ie before Tuesday, August 22 to sign your team up.
Along with the clubs, individuals are also invited to take part in the Festivals. An open invitation Barbarians side containing individual players or groups of three or four will compete in upcoming Festivals with players invited to sign up to play for this team if their own club is not entering (contact info@connachtrugby.ie to sign up for the Barbarians).
