The Connacht management team have released the latest squad update ahead of Saturday’s BKT URC meeting with Vodacom Bulls at Dexcom Stadium.
Hugh Gavin (ankle) underwent surgery following an injury in the win over Dragons, and will unfortunately be out of action until mid-February.
Peter Dooley (calf) is rehabbing a calf strain and is aiming for a return to selection availability for the Christmas interpros.
JJ Hanrahan (knee) continues his long-term rehab and remains on track to return in mid-January.
Otherwise there is a relatively clean bill of health in the squad, with 30 players seeing game-time in recent weeks in the first two rounds of the IRFU 150 Men’s ‘A’ Interprovincial Championship.
Dave Heffernan has been released from Ireland duty and is available for selection this weekend, as is Santiago Cordero following the end of Argentina’s autumn internationals.
Bundee Aki, Mack Hansen, Finlay Bealham and Cian Prendergast remain in Ireland camp this week.
