The Connacht Rugby management team have released the latest squad update ahead of Saturday’s EPCR Challenge Cup meeting with Montauban at Dexcom Stadium.
In good news, five returning players are available for selection this week. They are Jack Aungier (elbow), Jack Carty (ribs), Matthew Devine (head), Dave Heffernan (calf), and Sean Naughton (ankle).
Caolin Blade (achilles) and Colm Reilly (hamstring) are also due to return to training later in the week, with a view to being available against Leinster next week.
Josh Ioane (head) is unavailable this week, while Finlay Bealham (knee) is expected to miss a couple of weeks following an injury sustained against Leinster.
Hugh Gavin (shoulder) underwent surgery in the past week and is expected to be unavailable for approximately 3 months, and Shayne Bolton (quad) is also expected to be unavailable until April following his injury against Dragons late last month.
