The Connacht management team have released the latest squad update ahead of Saturday's BKT URC interpro against Leinster at the Aviva Stadium.
Andrew Smith (thumb) will undergo surgery tomorrow for an injury sustained in the Perpignan win, and will then undergo rehab of 6-8 weeks.
Seán O'Brien (thigh) will undergo an MRI today to assess an injury picked up in the same game.
Following a specialist review last week, Shayne Bolton (foot) is targeting a return to selection availability by the end of January.
In better news, Josh Ioane (ankle) and Piers O'Conor (hamstring) have both returned to full training and are available for selection.
There are no updates on Hugh Gavin (ankle), Peter Dooley (calf) and JJ Hanrahan (knee).
