The Connacht management team have released the latest squad update ahead of Saturday’s home BKT URC meeting with Emirates Lions.
In good news, long-term absentees Colm Reilly (ankle), Shane Jennings (ankle), Diarmuid Kilgallen (thigh) and Oisin McCormack (thigh) have all returned to full training and are available for selection.
John Porch (knee) had a minor surgical procedure 3 weeks ago and is due to return to training in the coming weeks.
Dylan Tierney-Martin (neck) has a consultancy review this week and his return will be assessed thereafter.
Shayne Bolton (ankle) continues to recover from surgery and is aiming to be available for selection in early April.
Oisin Dowling (ankle) has also undergone surgery and is due to return in mid April.
Long-term absentees Mack Hansen (shoulder) and Santiago Cordero (knee) continue to rehab and remain on track to be available for selection from the end of April and end of May respectively.
Meanwhile the club can confirm it has granted Liam McNamara an early release from his contract to allow him to return home to Australia. McNamara joined Connacht last summer and made 2 appearances for the club. We wish him every success in the future.
