Squad Update: Tuesday 1st October

The Connacht management team have released the latest squad update ahead of Friday's BKT URC trip to the Scarlets.

Sam Illo (ankle) will see a specialist today for a ligament injury he sustained against the Sharks, after which a return-to-play plan will be decided.

Shayne Bolton (knee) and Joe Joyce (neck) have returned to training this week following the injuries they picked up against Munster, and their availability will be assessed later in the week.

Unavailable for selection this week are Shamus Hurley-Langton (shoulder), Jordan Duggan (ankle) and Josh Ioane (GRTP protocols) and all three will be further assessed ahead of Ulster next week.
