Connacht Rugby U18 Girl's head coach Claire Coghlan has named her match day squad for tomorrow’s PwC U18 Interprovincial Championship 3rd place Final against Ulster in Mullingar RFC (k/o 1.00pm)
The Connacht U18 Girls will once again face Ulster in their 3rd place Final in Mullingar RFC and will be looking to make it 3 out of 4 wins for the Interpros - a first since 2022. After a brilliant win against Munster last week and losing out on a spot in the 1st place Final by the smallest of margins on the overall table, the Connacht side will be looking to end on a high.
Captain Kitty Sweeney will lead out the side at scrum-half for the final time this U18 Interpros season.
Buccaneers' Sally Fleming remains at out-half with Buccaneers' Mila Fralkova coming off the bench to start with Ballinasloe's Esther Albert in the centre. The back three is formed by Elsie Yewlett (Sligo Rugby) starting with Leah McNamara (Westport RFC) on the wings with Niamh Gannon (Tuam/Oughterard RFC) in at full back.
In the pack, there's a bit of a shake-up with Cora Heneghan (Buccaneers RFC) alongside Ruth Conway (Westport RFC) and Isabella Garvey (Sligo Rugby) in the back row. Meabh Grennan (Corinthians RFC) comes into the second row alongside Aoibhinn Lyons (Westport RFC), while the front row consists of hooker Losalia Atonio (Tuam/Ougherard RFC) starting with props Amy Moran (Loughrea RFC) and Cairínn Kearns (Gort/Monivea RFC).
