Connacht Rugby can confirm John Porch has been granted an early release from his contract to take up a new playing opportunity in France.
Porch joined from the Australia Sevens programme in 2019, and quickly became a fan-favourite who could play anywhere across the back three.
In total he scored 20 tries in 87 appearances across six seasons for the club.
Everyone at Connacht Rugby wishes John and his family every success in the future, and thanks him for his brilliant contributions to the province.
