Train Like A Pro With The Pros! Fitness Camps Return!

Ever wonder what it would be like to train in top class facilities and be guided by a professional athlete? Sign up for Connacht Rugby’s strength and conditioning classes and Bootcamp sessions at our excellent facilities in the Sportsground and achieve your fitness goals under the watchful eye of Connacht players Jason Harris Wright and Matt Healy along with experienced fitness adviser Gerard Kelly.

Participants of the strength and conditioning classes will be treated to a comprehensive training plan by senior professional players Jason Harris Wright and Matt Healy. Classes include resistance training and cardio-vascular work along with tips and information on how to improve mobility, flexibility, diet and lifestyle. All classes take place in the impressive Connacht Rugby gym.

Jason is excited to run the course. “If you are a beginner or an experienced gym goer the sessions will be of huge benefit to you. Everyone will receive advice and guidance tailored to their specific goals but the overall programme will be similar for everyone. I’ve a huge interest in fitness and have studied sports psychology so I get a real kick out of helping people achieve their fitness and weight loss goals”, he added.

Connacht Rugby Bootcamp has been designed as a fun outdoor training alternative suitable for both men and women of all fitness levels and will be led by experienced fitness instructor Gerard Kelly.  Classes will be held on the all-weather multipurpose 3G area. By using a wide range of equipment workouts are dynamic, challenging and unique.

The Bootcamp’s will give the trainee an all over body workout; will improve general health, boost aerobic endurance and aid fat loss. Most importantly the Bootcamp’s will have a core objective of teamwork and encouragement will flow from this to allow the trainee to push themselves to maximise their training results.

DATES

Classes start from 14th September,  consist of 20 sessions over 10 weeks and are open to both men and women of all fitness levels


  • Strength and Conditioning – Monday and Wednesday 6.30pm – 7.30 pm

  • Bootcamps – Tuesday and Thursday  6.30pm – 7.30pm

  • 10 week camps (20 sessions in total)

  • Bootcamp €99 (10% discount for Connacht Rugby season ticket holders and returning participants)

  • Strength and Conditioning €165 (10% discount for Connacht Rugby season ticket holders and returning participants)
