U18 Women's squad named for Leinster

Connacht U18 Women head coach Craig Hansberry has named his matchday 23 for tomorrow’s PwC Women’s Interprovincial Championship clash against Leinster U18s in Energia Park (k/o 1.00pm).

The U18 Women’s side, sponsored by ATU, will be captained by Meabh Flannery (Corinthians RFC) this week.

The game is the third of the U18 PwC Interpro Series after two great wins over Ulster and Munster. The Interpro final will take place in Buccaneers RFC on Saturday, 7th September.

Commenting ahead of the team announcement, Co Vice-Captain Uillian Eilian says:

"I feel there is a great vibe within the team this year and we all get along really well. We our all aware that this match is going to be very tough but we are very excited and I feel we will come out on top"

Co Vice-Captain Ailbhe Gannon added:

"We’re all very excited for our next match, we know how good Leinster are and that we’ll all have to put in a huge performance, but we back ourselves and we’re ready for the weekend"
