We are now accepting nominations from suitable candidates for the voluntary position of Chairperson of the Mini's Rugby Committee in Connacht Rugby. Role & Purpose
The Chairperson shall build constructive relationships with the Chairperson of the Age Grade Committee. Help the mini rugby game develop and increase participation.
It is expected the Mini’s Rugby Committee shall meet at least 8 times a year. It is expected the Chairperson will attend Age Grade Committee meetings and the Club & Community Rugby Forums.
The Chairperson of the Mini’s Rugby Committee shall have relevant experience and demonstrate a number of the key competencies listed below:
• Strategic Planning
• People Development
• Project Management
• Communications/ Stakeholder Management
• Change Management
• Volunteer Development
• Club Development
• Mini’s Rugby
• Women’s Rugby
• Player Education
• Competition Structures
Note: - This is a voluntary role and it will not be remunerated. Process
Clubs and members are invited to nominate individuals for these roles by emailing their nomination to firstname.lastname@example.org. These nominated individuals do not have to be a member of any club.
The individuals nominated must then submit a cover letter and CV. The cover letter must outline why the applicant wishes to be considered for the role, demonstrate that they have both the experience and fulfil competencies related to the particular role (see role descriptions) and what they believe they will add to Connacht Rugby.

no later than 3pm on Friday 8th of March.
Those shortlisted will be invited to interview on the following week.
