The U10 boys from Oughterard were one of 25 teams to take to the hallowed turf at the Aviva Stadium for a Mini Rugby festival.
400 boys and girls from 25 clubs from across Ireland got the opportunity to play at the national stadium with the U12 Girls teams from Portumna/Gort and Sligo also participating along with the U10 Boys from Ballinasloe and Sligo.
The teams involved were drawn from the four regional Aviva Minis Festivals held in Ballyclare (Ulster), Carlow (Leinster), UL Bohemians (Munster) and Ballina (Connacht). This was be the fourth occasion that the festival was staged at the home of Irish Rugby, thanks to Aviva’s sponsorship of Mini Rugby.
The boys and girls from across Ireland played against each other in a non-competitive and fun environment.
