We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our match day stewarding team at Dexcom Stadium.
At Connacht Rugby, we are committed to delivering a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for everyone who visits Dexcom Stadium. Match days are exciting and dynamic, with thousands of supporters in attendance — and we rely on the support of passionate volunteers to help make it all happen. As a Steward, you will play a key role in ensuring fans are welcomed, informed, and supported in a friendly, professional manner.
We're looking for individuals who are:
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and able to use their own initiative
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of all fans on match days
- Follow emergency and evacuation procedures as directed by the Chief Steward and Event Control
- Provide assistance and guidance to fans (e.g. seating locations, facilities, vendors)
- Support crowd management efforts to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Assist with ticket scanning and entry at main gates
- Maintain a calm and helpful presence throughout your shift
- Represent Connacht Rugby with professionalism and enthusiasm
