NUIG RFC is seeking to recruit an ambitious and committed 1st XV coach to work with the club and its 1st XV for the 2018/19 season.
This is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in the continued development and success of NUIG Rugby.
The role consists of preparing the team for the Connacht Junior League and continuing the progress made in recent seasons. NUIG also fields a second XV, U20 XV, a woman’s XV and 6 underage academy teams. The Head Coach will focus on the 1st XV.
Applicants should:
- Have outstanding leadership and communication skills, effective talent identification and development systems with the ability to build strong relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
- Demonstrate a strong appreciation of the importance of the technical and tactical components of the game, through analysis, planning and organisation, which is imperative, as is the ability to articulate and deliver a vision and game plan to the team.
- Ideally be IRFU accredited Level 2 or higher.
