Diarmuid Kilgallen made his debut for Connacht in the final round of the 2019–20 Pro14 against Munster, being announced as a late replacement in the starting 15 for Matt Healy. Kilgallen has been a regular presence in the matchday 23 for the 2021/22 season where he scored a try on his Heineken Champions Cup debut in December.
