Francois van Wyk is a 34-year-old loosehead prop who signed with the province ahead of the 2026/27 season, transferring from Gallagher Premiership side Bath. Born in Bellville, South Africa, he developed his early career in the Western Province structures before representing the Cheetahs in Super Rugby. He subsequently moved to the northern hemisphere, accumulating significant top-tier experience during a four-year tenure with Northampton Saints and a three-year spell at Bath.
