The Connacht Eagles were defeated 29 – 10 by a strong Pontypridd RFC side in Wales this afternoon.

Wing Shane O’Leary opened the scoring with an early kick from the tee while a second half try was taken by skipper Eoghan Masterson. Replacement outhalf Conor McKeon kicked the conversion.

Nigel Carolan’s men are in action at the Sportsground next Saturday December 13th at 2pm in the final round of the British & Irish Cup.
