PREVIEW: 2022 Connacht Schools Senior Cup Final
Title gaps of either 5 or 8 years will come to an end when Colaiste Iognaid (The Jes) and Sligo Grammar face off in the 2022 Connacht Schools Senior Cup Final on Tuesday 15th March (k/o 4pm).

The Jes were last victorious in 2017 when they overcame Summerhill College Sligo, and this is their first appearance in the decider since 2018 when they came up short to Garbally College. With 14 titles to their name, they'll be hoping to add to the list at the expense of opponents Sligo Grammar.

This is back-to-back appearances for the Sligo school, having come up just short against Garbally the last time the final was held in 2020. The last time both these clubs faced off in the final was in 2010, which was won by Sligo Grammar 26-11.

This year the three Senior Cup finals will take place on the same day as part of a triple-header. First up on Tuesday is the meeting of Presentation Headford and Sancta Maria College in the 'C' final at 12pm, and that'll be followed by St. Paul's Oughterard versus Colaiste Einde Salthill in the 'B' decider at 2pm.

Tickets are on sale at the link below and we wish the best of luck to all six competing schools!
