Promotion/Relegation Format In Connacht Junior Leagues
J1A Promotion: The league winners will go into the Ulster Bank League round-robin along with the winners of the other three provincial junior leagues.

J1A Relegation: The bottom team will be automatically relegated with the side second from bottom going into a play-off against the team that finish second in J1B.

J1B Promotion: The league winners will be promoted to J1A and the second placed team will face the team that finish second from bottom in J1A in a play-off.

J1B Relegation: The bottom team will be automatically relegated with the side second from bottom going into a play-off against the team that lose the J1C final.

J1C Promotion: The top two teams will face off in a final with the winners promoted to J1B. The losers of that final will go into a play-off against the team that finish second from bottom in J1B,

J1C Relegation: The team that finish bottom will play the losers of the J2 final in a play-off.

J2 Promotion: The top four teams will go into the semi-finals of the play-offs (1 v 4 & 2 v 3). The winners of the subsequent final will be promoted to J1C with the losers of the final playing the team that finish second from bottom in J1C.
