League leaders Glasgow have kept their position at the top of the table after a bonus point win at the Sportsground today.

Pat Lam’s men will be hugely disappointed with the manner of the defeat after a spirited opening that saw them lead the Scottish side 6 – 5 until the 35th minute when full back Stuart Hogg got over for his side’s second try to take a lead that they never relinquished despite Connacht pressure.

Jack Carty kicked two penalties in the opening half and a further conversion after the break after Aly Muldowney crossed for the hosts’ only try despite holding the majority of the game’s possession.

Glasgow’s tries came from backs Hogg, Niko Matawalu (2), Tommy Seymore and Number 8 Adam Ashe. Outhalf Finn Russell kicked three from five conversions.
