Become A Coach

Developing coaches has always been a priority for Connacht Rugby. A good coaching set up leads to increased participation and improved performance at all levels. It also improves the overall experience for players at all grades throughout the province.

Connacht Rugby coaching courses are aimed to support coaches and their development, by increasing and enhancing their knowledge of the game.

Modules included cover a wide range of topics. These include the role of the coach, as well as planning rugby training sessions and technical understanding of various elements of the game, such as the scrum, lineout, tackle etc.
