This will be supporters’ first opportunity to meet new Connacht arrivals Bundee Aki and Tom McCartney who will also take part in the session in the build up to the upcoming PRO12 clash with Zebre at the Sportsground ( Friday November 21st, kick off 19:35).

All supporters are welcome to the Open Training session at Buccaneers RFC on Friday November 14th, starting at 10am.

Commenting on the upcoming event, Connacht CEO Willie Ruane said:

“We’re delighted to be bringing our senior squad to Buccaneers rugby club. With guys like Robbie Henshaw, Jack Carty and Shane Layden amongst others having played all their rugby there growing up, we have a very close relationship with the club. It’s really important that we take the opportunity to meet and thank all our young supporters based in and around the club.

“Following on from successful squad visits to Sligo, Ballinrobe, Monivea and Loughrea RFC during pre-season, it’s fantastic to be able to continue with the programme during the season. I know the players and coaches are really looking forward to the day.”
