Sligo women’s rugby team travel to Enniskillen this weekend (kick off 12pm Sunday)) to play their first match in the Ulster Cup competition. Sligo, who are currently in first place in the Connacht League, are looking forward to the challenge ahead of them, as this is a big step for the newly reformed women’s side. Head coach Gavin Foley is optimistic. “We are looking forward to the challenge and experience to play at a higher level. The girls have been training hard over the past few months and are up to the challenge ahead of them, nd representing Connacht in the Ulster competition is a true honor.”
