Squad Update

Ahead of the Challenge Cup round 6 game at home to Enisei-STM, the Connacht Rugby medical team provided the following update.

Post Brive game

Jason Harris-Wright
Hooker Jason Harris-Wright suffered a concussion during the first half of the game with Brive on Saturday. The 27-year-old will continue to go through the return-to-play protocols.

Post Eagles game

Eoin McKeon
Back row forward Eoin McKeon returned form elbow injury to start in the B&I cup game for the Connacht Eagles at the weekend. However, the Galway man sustained a hip pointer injury and is subsequently unavailable for selection this weekend.

Darragh Leader
Versatile back Darragh Leader, also returned to match action at the weekend when he lined out for the Eagles but re-aggravated a previous wrist injury during the game. The 22-year-old from Galway remains unavailable for selection as he consults a surgeon this week.

Craig Ronaldson
Craig Ronaldson remains unavailable as pain continues on a shoulder impingement

Returning and available

Robbie Henshaw
Pending a surgical review and sign off on Friday, Ireland international Robbie Henshaw will be available to play against Russian side Enisei-STM at the Sportsground on Saturday.

Kieran Marmion
Scrum half Kieran Marmion also returns to the fray, having missed out on the last round of action with a hip pointer injury.

The Connacht team to face Enisei-STM will be named on Friday at 12 noon.
