Girls Youth rugby in Connacht continues to go from strength to strength after two schools from the province contested the IRFU Girls Sevens Secondary Schools National Finals at Energia Park.
In the end there was success for Ard Scoil Mhuire Ballinasloe who defeated Sacred Heart Westport in a brilliant senior final, winning by four tries to three.
The Co Galway side had earlier overcome Colaiste Ide from Munster, St Kevins from Leinster and Enniskillen from Ulster.
Clifden Community Schools and Mercy Tuam were among the schools to contest the junior competition.
