Connacht Rugby are delighted to announce it has agreed a three-year partnership with Corrib Oil who will become Official Fuel Partner of Connacht Rugby. The partnership, which commences immediately ahead of the new 2020/21 season, will see the Corrib Oil logo incorporated onto the shorts of both the Senior Men’s Professional team and the Connacht Women’s team.


Corrib Oil was founded over 30 years ago in Claremorris, Co. Mayo and support over 650 local jobs primarily in the West of Ireland. The 2020/21 home, away and European kits, which all feature the Corrib Oil logo, will be revealed in the coming days.

Connacht Rugby are delighted to announce Four Star Pizza as a new official partner with the province and sponsor of Half Time Mini Rugby in the Sportsground.


Half Time Mini Rugby is an all-inclusive new initiative which involves teams from U8s up to U12s, all girls teams and Connacht’s Disability Rugby teams playing at half-time of Connacht’s competitive home games in the Sportsground. All 27 clubs in the province will be represented as part of the initiative.


Announcing the new partnership, Head of Commercial & Marketing at Connacht Rugby, Brian Mahony said: “We are delighted to welcome Four Star Pizza on board as an official partner of Connacht Rugby. We place a huge emphasis on the development of the domestic club game here in the province. The Half Time Mini Rugby, now sponsored by Four Star Pizza, brings together the club game and our match day experience in the Sportsground.”

NUI Galway and Connacht Rugby have announced an extension of their partnership until 2019.  NUI Galway became Connacht’s Academy and University partner in 2013, and since then 19 Connacht players have, or are about to, graduate from NUI Galway including current senior squad members Denis Buckley, Eoin Griffin, Eoin McKeon, Andrew Browne, Dave Heffernan, Jack Carty, Darragh Leader, Eoghan Masterson, Sean O’Brien and Conor McKeon.

Through the partnership, NUI Galway supports the Connacht Rugby Academy, and Connacht age grade player, particularly through the provision of structured third level education.  This year, 18 Connacht players across senior, academy and sub-academy squads are currently studying in NUI Galway in a number of disciplines including Commerce, Leadership, Law, Financial Maths & Economics, Science, Arts, Engineering, Computer Science & IT and Project Management.

As part of the partnership there is also an opportunity for some athletes from NUI Galway to benefit from Connacht Rugby’s high level strength and conditioning expertise.

Connacht Rugby are pleased to confirm a new partnership with McDonogh Capital Investments.

One of Ireland’s foremost private companies, the McDonogh Capital Investments name will appear on the sleeve of the province’s playing and training jerseys for the next two seasons as part of the new agreement.

McDonogh’s is a household name in Galway and actively support local sport, business and arts enterprises. Over the years the business has transformed into a successful investment and property company. The portfolio of McDonogh Capital Investments now extends to mainland Europe and beyond.
