What’s happening?

From the start of the new season Connacht Rugby are moving to a new Digital Ticketing Service. This means that all Season Tickets and Match Tickets that you purchase will be securely stored in your own private digital account, and can then be accessed on your phone, just like other digital tickets such as for concerts or flights.

Why the move to Digital Ticketing?

There are numerous benefits by moving to Digital Ticketing. Not only is it more efficient for our supporters and our stewards, thereby reducing queuing time, it’s also more secure, safe, and allows for contactless entry into The Sportsground. It allows Connacht Rugby to enhance our security protocals to keep you safe while watching the game. It’s also environmentally friendly, thanks to the vast reduction in paper waste.

How do I access my Season Tickets?

All you need to do is click on the link emailed to you and create an account using the same email address that you used to purchase your Season Tickets. Once your account is created and you have logged in, all of your Season Tickets will be there waiting for you!

What’s the quickest way to access my Season Ticket on matchday?

With just a few taps on your phone you can add the link to your account directly onto your iPhone or Android home screen. A step-by-step guide on how to do this is included below. This process will allow you to access your Season Ticket when you need and within seconds.

I have more than one Season Ticket on my account. Can I transfer the other Season Tickets to those ticket holders?

Yes. In the step-by-step guide you will see how you can permanently send a digital Season Ticket or Match Ticket to another email address. That person will then be sent a link to create an account of their own. Once their account has been created, their Season Ticket or Match Ticket will be transferred from your account to theirs.

I can’t attend a match, can I share my Season Ticket to others for that game?

Yes! We have made it easier to temporarily share your own Season Ticket to someone using the Digital Ticketing Service. You also have the ability to take your ticket back whenever you want using the Digital Ticketing Service. A step-by-step guide on how to do this is also below.

Are you still offering standard physical season tickets or match tickets?

No, from now on all Season Tickets and Match Tickets will be delivered to supporters using the Digital Ticketing Service, who can then access their tickets via their iPhone or Android device.

I created an account and I can’t see my tickets.

Please ensure that you created an account using the same email address you used when purchasing your Season Ticket. If your tickets are still not visible, then please contact us at [email protected] Please allow up to 3 working days for us to respond to your query.

Will this ticket be eligible for the pre-season friendly at Athlone on Friday Sept 26th?

Yes. At the gates of Dubarry Park our stewards will scan your new Season Ticket which is located on your account and visible through your iPhone or Android device.

HOW TO GET STARTED

 

Step 1:
Using the phone you wish to store your tickets on, click on the link sent to you via email. Remember, this should be the same phone you will bring with you to The Sportsground.

Step 2:

  • Add the Digital Ticketing icon to your home screen.
    • Chrome (Android):
      You will be prompted to add the Digital Ticketing page to your home screen when you open the Digital Ticketing Service for the first time. If you do not receive the prompt you can do so manually by selecting the three dots in the top right corner of the screen.
    • Safari (iPhone):
      Select the “share” button (square with an arrow pointing upwards) in the bottom centre of the screen > Scroll up to find “Add to home screen” > Select “Add” on the top right corner of the screen.
      Note: Apple does not allow you to add the Digital Ticketing icon to your homepage if you are using Chrome, so we recommend using Safari.

Step 3:
Select “Create Account” and fill out the required fields. Please ensure you use the email address that you used to purchase your Match Ticket or Season Ticket on. Then click login to continue. Once you’ve logged in, you will have access to the tickets attached to your email address.

Step 4:
When you arrive at The Sportsground, open the Digital Ticketing page that you have now added to your home screen. > Select on the appropriate order(s) > Present the given QR code(s) on your device to the stewards.

Step 5:
Make your way to your designated area of the stadium and enjoy the game!

 

Transferring and Sharing Tickets

I have multiple tickets (Season or Match tickets). How do I permanently transfer these to others?

  1. Within the order screen, find the ticket you want to share.
  2. Select the blue share icon below the ticket you want to share.
  3. Fill in the required fields (this person will now be a saved contact should you wish to send them a ticket in the future) and click Transfer.
  4. You can cancel the transfer up until the time the recipient has accepted the ticket.
  5. Once the ticket has been accepted, it will disappear from your account and you will no longer have access to it.
  6. Please note that if you permanently transfer a ticket, it will remove the ticket from your account and you will be unable to use it again unless the person you shared it with shares it back.

 

How to accept a ticket that has been shared with me.

If you don’t have an account you will need to follow the 5 steps above – “How to get started”.

If you do have an account you will receive a notification on the Digital Ticketing page (as well as receiving an email) to notify you that a ticket has been shared. Click on the notification to accept the transfer.

I can’t attend a match. How do I temporarily share my Season Ticket with others?

We understand that not every Season Ticket holder can go to every game. So we have made it easier to temporarily share your ticket so others can attend matches in your place.

  1. Within the order screen, find the your Season Ticket that you want to temporarily share.
  2. Select the blue transfer icon below that ticket.
  3. On the next screen, click the ‘Create Temporary Share’ button. It will turn green if temporary sharing is toggled on.
  4. Fill in the required fields and click Transfer. This person will now be a saved contact should you wish to send them a ticket in the future.
  5. You can cancel the temporary share up until the time the recipient has accepted your ticket.
  6. Once your ticket has been accepted, your own QR code will be inactivated. Don’t worry, you can get it back at any time.
  7. The individual who you shared the ticket with will receive an email and will have to set up an account to use the ticket following the same instructions above.
  8. Please be sure that the ‘Temporary Share’ button is toggled on or you will permanently transfer the ticket away and will have to ask the intended recipient to permanently share it back.

 

How do I get my ticket back after I temporarily share it with others?

  1. Once your ticket has been temporarily shared, the blue transfer button at the bottom of the shared ticket will turn red. The QR code for that ticket will inactivated until it is returned.
  2. By pressing the red transfer button, you will be brought to a menu which will allow you to take back the shared ticket.
  3. Once it has been returned, the individual with whom you shared the ticket will no longer be able to access it, and your own QR code for that ticket will be reactivated.

Your “Home” screen displays all your active tickets, whether purchased by you or tickets that were shared with you.
You will also receive notifications here if someone has shared a ticket with you.

Profile
Here you can see and update your personal details, i.e., Name, Date of Birth, Phone number, Address.
You can also subscribe to receive more information from us, i.e., emails of updates of upcoming matches and ticket sale releases.

This section displays your order history including all previous orders and current active orders. You can filter this section by date to search for specific orders you might be searching for.
