Coaches Laws Workshop – The Connacht Hotel on Thursday 18th August @ 7pm

A review of the Laws of the Game takes place following every Rugby World Cup, and this season there are a number of law changes and amendments that have been introduced by World Rugby. In preparation for matches and competitions that are starting soon, we would like to invite coaches from youths, schools and adult rugby to attend a Laws Workshop in The Connacht Hotel on Thursday 18th August from 7-9pm. Seán Gallagher from the IRFU Referee Department will present the workshop and give you an opportunity to have your questions answered – easy or difficult!

In addition to the law changes and amendments from World Rugby, the IRFU are launching an initiative to promote fair contact and eliminate illegal collisions at all levels of the domestic game. This re-emphasis on the existing foul play law will also be presented at the workshop.

It is strongly recommended that all clubs and schools have at least one coach from each of their teams in attendance on the night. The event will begin at 7pm sharp.
