Connacht junior club Westport RFC are seeking a coach for their adult men's team.

Founded in 1925, county Mayo-based Westport RFC are a very proud and well organised club with a very settled, committed and motivated men’s team. The club are seeking an ambitious coach who will help achieve the goals of the club while further developing their own career.

The head coach will provide the squad with excellent rugby experience aligned with team and unit capacities, geared to deliver specific league and cup campaign goals. The successful applicant will target tactics and strategies to best achieve those goals, and provide evidence of prior coaching successes.

Applicants should satisfy the following criteria:

IRFU Stage 4 (Level 2) Accredited Coach; Appropriate Head Coaching experience (three years recommended); Strong Management Skills (interpersonal, leadership, motivation, patience and teamwork); Player development (bringing players skill sets to the required level for J1A rugby).
